The 5 Best Christmas Gifts for Puzzle Lovers

very hard brain teaser puzzle for adults
  1. For people who love solving the hardest puzzles:

There are a couple great options here such as Calibron 12 and Martin's Menace, but I am going to have to go with the Ramube Octohedron.

Tongue twisting name aside this puzzle is insanely hard. In fact, it is so hard most people will not even be able to take the puzzle apart let alone putting it back together.

Proceed with caution when it comes to this brain teaser.

  2. buy stash box wood puzzle box as a christmas gift
For People Who Love Puzzle Boxes

I am going to have to go with my personal favorite puzzle box on this one.

    The Stash Box.

I do not want to give away the trick to opening it as doing so will dampen the surprise when you finally figure it out. Rest assured it will be one of those "AHA!" moments.

Don't worry thought the solution is included just in case you get stuck or plan on putting a gift card in before gifting it.

  3. For People Who Love Leaving Puzzles Out for Guests

A lot of the brain teasers you find on Creative Escape Rooms work great as coffee table puzzles.

The Cruiser; however, stands a cut above the rest.

It is a deceptively difficult brain teaser. Most will brush off the potential challenge of solving a 4 piece puzzle.

5 minutes later they will be scratching their hides trying to figure out how in the hell the 4 pieces can possible fit back in the available space.

  4. buy the penny drop game online at creative escape rooms

    For People Who Love Games

PENNY DROP!! By far the easiest recommendation on this list.

If you enjoy game nights with family friends do yourself a favor and add Penny Drop to your rotation.

It is easy to learn and play which means it can be enjoyed by just about every regardless of age (I recommend ages 4 and up) so the kids will not be left out of the fun.

Better yet once the kids go to bed you can break out the drinks and throw down a couple bucks each round.

This is just a great freaking game. You can check out the Penny Drop Games Rule List if you are curious on just how to play.

  5. phaes of the moon Montessori puzzle for kids Christmas gift

    For Kids Who Love Puzzles

Inspired by Mrs. Creative Escape Rooms I have started designing Montessori style puzzles and toys meant for younger kids and toddlers.

They are a fantastic way to encourage multiple educational facets while your child is actually having a good time solving a puzzle.

My favorite of these is the Phases of the Moon puzzle (who didn't think the moon was mysterious and cool when they were a kid?).

The brain teaser comes with a key board showing what each phase looks like and the name, matching the puzzle board.

This will help guide your child as he learns about the lunar cycle and solves the puzzle.

Do you have any suggestions on a puzzle you think others would love to receive as a gift this Christmas?

If you would like my suggestions for someone specific (say an engineer, someone who loves math, etc...) Please do not hesitate to contact me.

I will be happy to help in any way I can. Happy Holidays!
